Easy to use video conferencing solution

We were recently approached by one of our charity clients to provide a solution for video conferencing across zoom or teams and presentations in their big meeting room.

As they rely on income from renting the room out we needed to ensure that the solution we installed could be sued by anyone and didn’t require software to be installed.

We installed a 70” LED screen with a Yealink IP Video Conferencing solution.  The Yealink solution included a wall mounted sound bar just underneath the screen, with an embedded 20MP wide angle webcam, capable of auto focusing on the main person speaking.  We then installed a ceiling mounted omni directional microphone.

Once configured all the end user needs to do is plug their laptop into the HDMI cable for the screen and the USB cable to connect to the camera, mic and speakers.  As long as you ensure those are selected within Zoom or Teams you are good to go, no drivers or software to install.

And the best part was that the kit came in under budget compared to many of the other “leading” video conferencing solutions.
